In retrospect … instead of a Operation: Mad-Dash we should’ve called it Operation: What-Could-Go-Wrong?

Answer to that question? Just about everything as it turned out. We were forced to cancel our Mad Dash to Charlotte for Heroes Con when a bevvy of last minute issues cropped up. We kept trying to power our way through them, but it seemed the harder we tried the greater the problems became. Finally, the realization hit that we simply weren’t going to be able to leave in time to make our plan work.

So apologies to everyone for hyping an appearance we weren’t able to make. Now if you’ll excuse me … I have to get work on all the groveling and buying of “daddy presents” necessary to regain the trust of a deeply disappointed six year girl.
