Edgar wakes up in the new world.
After a particularly violent suicide, Edgar Rue wakes up as a floating, disembodied skull in a strange world. He quickly befriends a giant tentacle named Coolidge, and the two set out on a quest to find meaning to their new existence.
Wayne says “So if the the afterlife is mundane, absurd and populated by idiots, then it’s a lot like regular life, right? This book is funny and clever, which are two things I’m into. It’s pretty surreal looking, which is cool because it pretty surreal to read as well.”
