One of the most common mistakes we see on orders is with regard to page count. There is a tendency to confuse sheets with pages. Don’t make that mistake. Sheets and pages are NOT synonymous. They are two very different things.

Paper is manufactured in sheets. When you hold a blank piece of paper you’re holding a sheet NOT a page.

A sheet of paper has two sides — the front and the back. If you print on both sides of the sheet then you have TWO pages — the front is page one, the back is page two.

In printing, a page is NEVER multi-sided, by definition it CAN’T be. A page is ALWAYS one side of a sheet.

So if you draw 24 interior pages for your comic then you need to order a 24 page comic. Don’t worry about how many sheets that will take. That’s our job.

Oh, and don’t count the covers — we count interior pages only, we assume there will always be a cover.
